Mr. Ashok Singh is an engineering-driven industrial leader with over 15 years of experience in designing, developing and executing large-scale energy and chemical infrastructure projects. His expertise lies in coal and lignite gasification technologies, methanol production systems and integrated coal-to-chemical value chains.
With a strong focus on engineering execution, Mr. Singh has led multidisciplinary teams responsible for the planning, design integration and implementation of complex gasification-based industrial facilities. His work involves close coordination with technology licensors, process engineers, EPC contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure efficient project delivery from concept engineering to commissioning.
A key area of his leadership has been the development of lignite-to-methanol production infrastructure using advanced gasification technologies. These projects involve high-temperature gasification reactors, synthesis gas (syngas) generation systems, methanol synthesis loops, downstream chemical processing units and integrated utilities management.
Under his guidance, engineering teams have successfully structured projects using LEPC (Licensing, Engineering, Procurement and Construction) frameworks while ensuring full compliance with national industrial and environmental regulations.
Mr. Singh has also played a significant role in integrating global technologies into the Indian industrial ecosystem through collaborations with international licensors and engineering firms.
